We have arranged Transport for guests: (limited numbers)

• To the Ceremony: from Studland via Swanage to the Guildhall
• To the Reception: Guildhall to Studland Bay House
• We will also provide a mini-bus/shuttle service back to Swanage only, for guests at the end of the reception, leaving Studland Bay House around midnight.

Getting to Dorset:

By Car

We are about two hours from Heathrow; allow a good three hours on Friday afternoons. From London take the M3 - M27 (West) - A31 - A338 route to Bournemouth. If driving to Studland Bay House, follow signs to Canford Cliffs then Sandbanks for the chain ferry across the mouth of Poole Harbour; every 20 mins, 7a.m. - 11 p.m. -  busy on sunny weekends. There is a toll charge.

Satellite Navigation
The postcode of Studland Bay House is BH19 3AQ but we suggest that you do not use this if you plan to come via the Sandbanks Chain Ferry. Some satnav systems do not recognise ferries and tolls and will send you to the House via Wareham. The most sensible postcode to use is BH13 7QJ, the nearest one to the Sandbanks Ferry.

By Train
A train service from Waterloo to Wareham takes just two hours.  Studland Bay House is only 10 miles away from Wareham, and Swanage is even closer to Wareham station. Both journeys are a short taxi ride away. We recommend booking a taxi in advance as at busy times they can be in high demand. Please see the Taxi list for recommended company details.

Alternatively, there are also fast train services from Waterloo to Poole in under two hours; taxis from Poole to Studland Bay House take around 40mins.
